While studying computer science, I realized that I am interested in too many fields. These days, I am mostly drawn to systems, including hardware, operating systems, networking, and cloud infrastructure. However, I am also interested in machine learning, graphics, and animation.

My interest in lower-level systems eventually led me to UBC Systopia Lab as an undergraduate research assistant with support from the NSERC USRA. I also found a real interest in teaching after becoming a teaching assistant, especially by making materials that help students understand difficult concepts.
